Czech car maker Skoda launches sedan version of Fabia, "Skoda Rapid" in India on the VW Vento platform. Skoda Rapid launched in both the petrol and diesel variant. Diesel TDI putting down 250Nm between 1500-2500rpm and the petrol making 153Nm @ 3800rpm.

Just like Vento new Rapid will factor in both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Volkswagen launches 2011 New Jetta priced at Rs. 14.12 to Rs. 17.86 Lacs - VW 2011 Jetta Photos, Images

Volkswagen launches the new 2011 version of "Jetta" in the Indian market on 17th August, 2011. The new 2011 Jetta is 90mm longer with lot of new features.





The new VW Jetta comes with leather seat upholstery, a leather package for the steering wheel, handbrake and gear lever etc. Day time running lights, Cruise control, Hill Start Assist, an electrically adjustable driver seats, rear AC vents, a touchscreen entertainment system with an integrated CD player, aux input and 8 speakers.



The all New Jetta is equipped with 2.0Litre, 4 cylinder CR TDI engine with a maximum power output of 140PS @ 4200rpm and a maximum torque of 320 Nm @1750-2500 rpm. Mated to a 6 speed DSG gearbox and a Manual version. Safety features includes 8 Airbags and a 3-point belt for the center rear seat.

Ford India after the success of their hatchback "Figo" now planning the same story in sedan with the launch of all new "Fiesta". New Ford Fiesta is very stylish and advance in both design and technology.

New Ford Fiesta has launched in both petrol and diesel with all new 1.5 litre engine with 5 speed gearbox. The petrol Duratec Ti VCT featuring a twin independent variable camshaft timing technology churns out 110PS at 6045rpm and makes 140Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The 1.5 TDCi Duratorq diesel on the other hand produces 91PS of power at 3750rpm, and a rather stellar 204Nm of torque between 2000 and 2750rpm

The all new Ford Fiesta will compete with newly launched hot selling Hyundai Verna, market leader Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and Fiat Linea.

Renault Launched Fluence Sedan in India, priced at Rs. 12.99-14.40 Lacs - Renault Fluence Photos

French car maker Renault launched it's much awaited luxury sedan "Fluence" n the Indian market, it's first product since break up with Mahindra. Renault Fluence is currently available in two versions 1Petrol and 1 diesel but more variants for both petrol and diesel engined Fluence will be made available soon.

The petrol version comes with 2-litre engine that makes 137bhp while diesel version comes with that makes 137bhp. Petrol version is more luxurious loaded with features like keyless entry, climate control system, steering mounted controls for both the stereo as well as for cruise control. The diesel meanwhile is available with a manual gearbox and black interiors.

Renault Fluence will compete with Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic, Skoda Laura and hot selling Chevrolet Cruze.

Hyundai launched all new Verna Fluidic, priced at Rs. 6.99 to 10.74 Lac - 2011 Verna Photos,Price

Hyundai India launched much awaited all new 2011 "Verna Fluidic" Priced between Rs. 699,000 to Rs. 1,074,500. The new Verna has based on the Hyundai's new Fluidic design philosophy "New Thinking New Possibilities".

Front of the new Verna has a two tier grill similar to new i10, sleek bonnet with large and sweeping headlamp. New Verna launched in two petrol and 2 diesel, 1.4 & 1.6 litre engine variants with manual and automatic transmission options.

The 1.4 litre petrol unit that makes 107PS@ 6300rpm and 138Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm. The diesel burner with the same capacity will also be on offer, which churns out 90PS@ 4000 rpm and a decent 224Nm of torque between 1750-2750 rpm.

The all new 2011 Verna Fluidic will compete with segment leader Honda City, newly launched Volkswagen Vento and powerful Fiat Linea.
